Continuous Improvement Solution Architect (Chicago)

Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.The Continuous Improvement Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between operational revenue cycle functions and Information Technology (IT) within the health system. Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle, this role serves as a key liaison between operational leaders and IT teams to translate operational challenges and improvement opportunities into actionable IT projects and tickets. This position is integral in refining and supporting the technology innovation governance structure, which aims to provide framework for the collaboration between operational project managers and Epic technical services to develop innovative technology solutions that enhance organizational performance. The Continuous Improvement Solution Architect leverages deep expertise in performance improvement strategies and project management to drive effective, scalable, and sustainable solutions that optimize operations, improve patient outcomes, and achieve organizational goals.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the primary liaison between operational revenue cycle leaders and IT teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project priorities and technology solutions.
- Translate complex operational problems and performance improvement opportunities into well-defined IT tickets, project scopes, and requirements.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and IT stakeholders to prioritize, scope, and coordinate IT initiatives that address critical revenue cycle and related workflow challenges.
- Support and refine the Innovator Program governance model, facilitating the collaboration between operational project managers and Epic technical services to deliver impactful technology solutions.
- Leverage data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision-making to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects focused on continuous improvement, technology adoption, and workflow optimization.
- Utilize strong project management skills to monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Provide clear and effective communicationincluding written documentation and verbal presentationsto stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
- Stay informed on industry best practices, healthcare revenue cycle trends, and emerging technology solutions to continually enhance the organizations capabilities.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, information technology, or a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Strong background in performance improvement methodologies and project management.
- Proven ability to translate operational challenges into technology projects and solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working collaboratively across clinical, operational, and IT teams.
- Required experience with Epic applications.
- Epic application certification(s) preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The estimated salary range for this job is $115,000 - $145,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting.The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Hurons annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Hurons pay for performance philosophy and Hurons benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
