About the Role: We are seeking a skilled, full-time Mechanic to lead our service and repair operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and evaluating all repair activities for our fleet of vehicles, specialized landscaping tools, and heavy equipment. This is a critical role that ensures our field teams can operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, and specialized landscaping equipment.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes and engine tuning.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools within our Evanston shop.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards before heading to the field.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and costs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a lead mechanic or related technician role.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is required.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds.
• Knowledge of high-speed machinery and various unit measurements.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
