Maintenance Supervisor

• Location: Chicago, IL
• Schedule: Onsite, 2nd Shift, 5PM-3:30AM, lots of OT availability
• Type: Direct Employment

Maintenance Supervisor Position Overview:
We are a Tier 1 supplier renowned globally for manufacturing propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components and assemblies. Join us and be part of a team driving excellence in manufacturing.

Maintenance Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide performance feedback to all direct reports, including mentoring, coaching, counseling, and administering corrective actions when necessary
• Enforce accountability and discipline to maintain a high-performing team
• Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels and departments
• Maximize equipment utilization and efficiency to meet production goals
• Manage and oversee the plant’s preventive maintenance program

Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Skilled Trades Maintenance Supervisor
• Strong background in manufacturing, stamping, and/or assembly processes
• Proven expertise with Fanuc robotics repair in a manufacturing environment (This is the biggest must-have)
• High voltage electrical repair experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled at mentoring and teaching effective problem-solving techniques
