Job Description

The Compounder Helper will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of filling machines. This includes sanitizing machines after product runs, disassembling and cleaning pumps, valves, and hoppers using water and mineral water, and then reassembling them. The role requires reading production reports to determine the necessary machine components for upcoming products.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and disassemble filling machines, pumps, valves, and hoppers.
• Reassemble machine components after cleaning.
• Read production reports to prepare machines for upcoming products.
• Clean belts and troubleshoot issues, escalating to mechanics if necessary.
• Lift up to 100 pounds with the use of a provided lift.
• Create and close orders in the MP2 computer system.
• Document training using Master Control.

Essential Skills

• Experience in sanitation and industrial cleaning.
• Ability to read and interpret production reports.
• Troubleshooting skills for addressing machine issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Sanitizing experience from a food, pharma, or personal care experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The role operates in a temperature-controlled GMP production environment. Safety equipment including hair nets, beard guards, safety glasses, and ear protection is mandatory. The work is fast-paced, requiring standing for the entire shift. Employees will receive a locker on their first day and can carry a clear bag containing necessary items such as a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.24/hr.
