As a Business Analyst / Manager on our Technology COO team, you'll play an important role in ensuring the seamless operation of the technology organization while supporting its alignment with CTC’s business goals. Working alongside the Technology COO, other Technology COO team members, and technologists, you'll help manage projects, optimize processes, and facilitate communication across teams. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your exposure to the financial industry and innovative technologies, while enhancing your project management and cross-team collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of the Technology organization; help track teams’ goals, milestones, and deliverables
- Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution, including preparing timelines, tracking dependencies, and communicating progress
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations for CTO, Technology Leadership, firm-wide COO, and businesses
- Help coordinate communication across technology, enterprise, and business teams to ensure alignment on priorities and initiatives
- Contribute to process improvement by mapping workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting enhancements or new tools
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the technology teams’ budgets and resource allocation
- Help organize and facilitate cross-team meetings, working sessions, and training events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience (internships and full-time) in management consulting, servicing technology departments of finance organizations, or direct work experience within technology function of a finance organization
- Experience or exposure to trading is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, coordinate projects, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset: you are curious, actively seek out information, and are eager to challenge any status quo
- Willingness to take ownership and learn new skills along the way
- Strong experience Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools (such as Jira)
- Analytical thinker, equally comfortable working with ambiguous problems and data
- Familiarity with technology concepts and finance/trading sector
Compensation
The salary range for this role is listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The discretionary bonus will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and firm performance. Salary Range $125,000—$175,000 USD. Most teams at CTC, with the exception of Trading, follow a hybrid workplace model, subject to change based on business need.
