Benefits Specialist

LaSalle Network is partnering with a mission-driven HR team in Oak Brook, IL, to hire a Benefits Specialist! This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a knack for organization, and a passion for making benefits work better for employees and their families.

This position supports an HR team focused on delivering exceptional service to a diverse employee base and evolving programs to support both operational efficiency and meaningful employee experiences. The role begins with a strong emphasis on benefits administration, with a clear path toward deeper involvement in compensation strategy and analytics.

Benefits Specialist Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, and more

• Reconcile benefits invoices and maintain alignment across platforms

• Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee life cycle processes

• Assist with compensation efforts like salary benchmarking and survey participation

• Maintain and audit employee records within ADP or similar HRIS

• Generate reports and insights around benefits utilization and trends

• Identify and champion process improvements

• Act as a go-to resource for employee questions related to benefits and policies

Benefits Specialist Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in benefits administration; exposure to compensation is a plus

• Familiarity with ADP or comparable HRIS

• High attention to detail, especially when working with numbers and reconciliations

• Comfortable working with data and producing reports

• Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments

• Located in Chicagoland with the ability to commute to Oak Brook post-August 11
