Part Time Admin Assistant
Serra Champaign is accepting resumes for a part-time staff member. This position requires a self-directed, high-energy individual. This requires someone who is ‘go-with-the-flow' and is adaptable in any situation. This individual will wear many hats and should have experience in a full sales and service environment with cross-functional skills in billing, cashiering, and a variety of dealer management systems.
Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, an upbeat personality, and a strong work ethic. This position offers excellent benefits. Pre-employment drug tests, background checks, and other screens may be required.
Serra Champaign offers outstanding full sales and service dealership operations across 5 vehicle brands, including Honda, BMW, Subaru, Buick, and GMC; and has one of the largest pre-owned inventories in the State. Serra Champaign provides a safe, caring, and positive work environment.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Perform various clerical and administrative duties
- Maintain customer account agreements, vehicle files, verification of title information, records of the completion of reconditioning work, and other required information
- Ensure payment for billings or accounts receivable are received on time and posted, and contact customers for reconciliation of discrepancies
- Perform data entry and verify customer vehicle information is accurately recorded in the system and that vehicles are properly tagged with a work order
- Respond to customer inquiries relating to assigned customer vehicles, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems
- Follow up with the customer to confirm completion of work and satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Clerical or administrative support experience
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity
- General Admin work including scanning, filing, and organizing records as deemed by the supervisor
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office
- - Excel and Word & Google Product Suite)
- Ability to adapt to and utilize a variety of dealership systems
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required
