Accounting and Human Resources Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS, and demonstrate proficiency in various accounting software. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic environment. Along with accounting duties, there is a human resource/ employee management aspect of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Manage and coordinate Amex feeds and employee expense reports
• Monthly banking and credit card reconciliations
• Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Serve as point of contact for employees
• Oversee HR department, including payroll, employee manual, and track employee schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Work experience in accounting (two years +)
• Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with IFRS and GAAP standards is essential.
• Proficient in general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of governmental accounting practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quickbooks Desktop, is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
