Program Managers are responsible for the successful launch of Zebra’s products and solutions by indirectly leading cross-functional teams to achieve Zebra’s goals.
The Program Manager, Advisor is responsible for the execution of multiple moderate to large scope projects that are complex in nature with cross-functional teams in multiple locations. In this role, you will collect, interpret, and deliver feedback and status updates, hold the core team accountable for deliverables, and delegate assignments while staying on schedule and budget.
Preference given to candidates in the Lincolnshire and Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities:
Makes improvement recommendations to established tools, approaches/methodologies, and templates to guide and document the plan and communicates it to the team.- Provides functional leadership to program management teams.
- Responsible for all aspects of program planning and execution fully autonomously
- Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring program completion, i.e., product on schedule and within budget constraints. Owns regular meeting coordination, facilitation, and
- Proactively identifies cross-functional impacts of decisions, project plans, and execution.
- Balances scope, schedule, and budget considerations to adjust the project w/minimal
program.
- Assumes self and indirect project team’s accountability for program success against the
team to assemble a consolidated view of status. Provides regular status updates to senior
management as directed. Owns ensuring alignment from key leaders of milestone
achievement before moving the program forward.
- Prepares and influentially presents status updates and other deliverables to senior level
- Independently engages additional resources as needed to address obstacles/delays.
- Proactively provides recommendations for issue resolution. Adjusts the plan as
- Establishes operational objectives and delegates assignments to achieve business
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of all PM techniques. Utilizes PM tools &
dependencies. Develops comprehensive risk management plans.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of development processes and product launch
- Demonstrates ability to navigate complex problems and overcome ambiguity with
- Identifies, recommends, and implements process improvements
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience, plus experience leading teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supply Chain program management experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of all PM techniques.
- Experience with PM tools & techniques in scheduling & staffing plans with an understanding of task duration and dependencies. Develops comprehensive risk management plans.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of development processes and product launch
scope and activities - Demonstrates ability to navigate complex problems and overcome ambiguity with
limited manager oversight
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Comfortable and experienced in delegating and requesting followup
- Experience with business systems and tools development/implementation
- PMP certification preferred
- Master's degree preferred

Salary: USD 120400.00 - USD 180600.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
