Diesel Truck Mechanic / Semi-Truck Technician
Location: Lynwood, IL (Peoria Truck Trailer and Moving)
Openings: 3–4 full-time positions
Status: URGENT HIRING – Immediate Start Available

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $30 – $50 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,500 – $2,000+ with overtime
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Hours: Full-time, typically 40–50+ hours per week
• Overtime: Regular overtime available

Shop & Facilities

• Modern, high-volume facility in Lynwood, Illinois
• 18 Truck Service Bays + 3 Trailer Bays
• 5,000+ parking spots on site
• Busy shop with a steady flow of work year-round

Position Overview

We are looking for experienced Semi-Truck Mechanics / Diesel Technicians to join our team at our main service facility near Chicago. You will be working on a wide variety of trucks and trailers in a fast-paced, well-equipped shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and trailers
• Perform work on:
• Engines
• Transmissions
• Brakes & suspensions
• Electrical & diagnostics
• Trailers and related systems
• Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and DOT-related repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a Diesel Technician / Semi-Truck Mechanic (required)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own basic tools (additional tools and equipment provided by shop)
• Reliability and strong work ethic are a must
