Central Illinois' Premier Buy-Here/Pay-Here Dealer with over 20 years in business and multiple locations and still growing across Central Illinois is seeking the right candidate(s) to fill our Corporate Sales Manager/Underwriter position. Job Duties:

• Provide underwriting for in-house automobile financing.
• Analyze information received from credit applications and supplemental documents to make prudent credit decisions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of loan decisions within established approval/exception guidelines by balancing risk/reward, to ensure credit quality and profitability. Making adjustments to these guidelines when necessary.
• Conduct required documentation audits to ensure accuracy and legitimacy when pertaining to credit decisions.
• Monitor overall Corporate Sales/Finance productivity.
• Work with Branch Sales Teams to establish, maintain, and grow our customer base.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide training, coaching, development, and motivation.
• Input into hiring, disciplinary action, and termination of Branch Sales Team members.
• Generate revenue by executing the company sales process and procedures utilizing the CRM(Customer Relationship Management) software to achieve performance objectives.
• Monitor the CRM software for entire company to ensure all users are properly utilizing the software to its maximum potential.
• Process Customer documents including finance applications, loan documents, titles, and vehicle registrations.
• Interact with customers and Branch Sales Team members on a regular basis and resolve any customer Sales/Finance issues.
• Adhere to all established company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements:

• Previous Success in Auto Sales/Finance, consumer finance, underwriting, collections, loan processing, rent-to-own, or similar area is necessary.
• Previous Auto Underwriting experience is Ideal.
• Previous Buy-Here/Pay-Here experience is a beneficial.
• Previous Supervisory/Management experience is preferred.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Must have general computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• College degree preferred and a High School diploma is required.
• Previous CRM experience is required.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Must be able to negotiate as needed.
• Must be able to identify objections and offer solutions to overcome them.
