Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year to provide specialized support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role is contracted from August 19 to November 7, 2025, covering a maternity leave. The position is onsite in Arlington Heights, Illinois, offering the opportunity to work directly within the school environment to impact student communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology
- Professional experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
