Sales Representative – Close High-Value Residential and Commercial Painting Contracts

Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will take complete ownership of your pipeline, transforming high-quality warm opportunities into signed contracts for a respected community brand. This position awards immense professional autonomy, allowing self-motivated individuals to control their income through uncapped commission structures. You will drive revenue growth across the Chicago South/Southwest Suburbs by delivering clear, professional, and consultative estimation experiences.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Convert qualified inbound opportunities into signed residential and commercial painting projects.
  • Guide potential clients confidently through a structured sales process to secure immediate commitments.
  • Manage an active, organized sales pipeline inside CRM and estimating software platforms.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with local property managers, homeowners, and commercial business owners.
  • Generate consistent repeat business and active referrals through professional post-project communication.
  • Produce accurate on-site cost estimations that secure target profit margins for field operations.
  • Formulate strategic personal sales follow-up routines to ensure zero lead stagnation

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of verified success in high-performance closing or contract sales roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing CRM tracking systems and digital estimating software.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales conversations and handle client objections independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication habits suitable for executing high-level client relations.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior sales or estimating experience within the painting, construction, or home services industries.
  • Extensive established network of local property managers and commercial real estate professionals.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing a high-volume, multi-territory pipeline autonomously.
