Material Handler
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, components, and supplies; verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare o shipments.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Complete shipping/receiving documentation and system transactions.
- Deliver materials to production lines.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse material handling (manufacturing preferred).
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Data entry, Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Experience receiving goods, picking and staging, and packaging orders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand/walk for long periods.
- Experience with freight carriers and inventory control a plus.
- Understand quality inspection and MRP/inventory systems a plus.
