Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Foodservice National Accounts to lead and grow our presence within the Top 200 national foodservice chains . This high-impact, entrepreneurial role is responsible for developing and executing strategic customer plans , building a robust pipeline of prospects, and managing existing customer relationships to drive revenue growth and profitability. This individual must be an expert in protein category selling, thrive in a high-travel, high-performance environment, and bring a proven track record of success in the chain restaurant segment.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Management & Growth
- Lead all aspects of account management for national chain customers.
- Cultivate, maintain, and grow strong relationships with key decision-makers (culinary, purchasing, and operations).
- Identify new opportunities within current accounts to expand product offerings.
- New Business Development
- Build and execute a strategy to develop a pipeline of new prospects within the Top 200 chains.
- Develop customized solutions aligned with customer brand strategies and culinary goals.
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Build and manage an annual strategic account plan and long-term growth outlook.
- Deliver accurate volume forecasts and financial projections.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure supply chain, marketing, and culinary alignment.
- Financial Management
- Own the P&L for each assigned account; manage pricing, trade spend, and customer programs.
- Ensure profitable growth through disciplined margin management and value-added solution selling.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D and Culinary teams to create customer-specific product innovations.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Travel
- Travel up to 75% to engage customers in-person, attend industry events, and conduct market visits.
Benefits Overview
Competitive base salary ($140,000- $200,000 annually). Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Full benefits package, including medical/ vision/ dental/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including an annual incentive program based on individual and company performance.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Culinary Arts, or related field; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in foodservice national account management, with a focus on top-tier chain restaurants .
- Strong understanding of the protein category (beef, poultry, pork, value-added meats) required.
- Proven success in selling to large, complex chain accounts and managing high-level negotiations.
- Experience developing and executing customer-specific business plans and forecasts .
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Culinary background or experience collaborating with culinary teams is highly preferred.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and operating independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
