Job Summary

W e are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician to support operational demands by ensuring on-time delivery and optimal performance of equipment. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical assets to minimize downtime, improve maintenance efficiency, and support reliability-centered maintenance strategies.

Job Description

• Maintain assigned equipment in compliance with reliability-centered maintenance programs and established maintenance procedures.
• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document labor hours, materials, parts used, and maintenance performance history.
  
• Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tractors, trailers, and specialized industrial equipment (e.g., cement pumps, Peterbilt tractors, Air Slide, and bulk trailers).
  
• Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using diagnostic software and tools.
  
• Perform road calls using a company-provided service vehicle to support field maintenance needs.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization, reduce downtime, and optimize cost of service delivery (CoSD).
  
• Support and implement CoSD projects such as planned repairs, parts reuse, and equipment failure investigations.
  
• Ensure compliance with all company standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
  
• Promote and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the maintenance base.

S kills Required

• Strong background in preventive maintenance on various types of trailers and tractors.
• Proficient in diagnosing electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools.
  
• Experience conducting road service calls efficiently and safely.
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tractor and trailer maintenance (required).
  
• Oil & Gas industry experience (preferred, 2+ years).
  
• Experience with Cement pumps, Peterbilt tractors, Air Slide, and Bulk trailers.
  
• Familiarity with diagnostic software including: CAT ET, Cummins Insight, Davie Software, Service Ranger, HVAC troubleshooting (preferred)

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in Diesel Maintenance or related field.

Pay Rate

• $27 and higher depending on experience and qualifications
