Quickly moving into other industries, we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class Project Billing Coordinator willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field!

The Project Billing Coordinator position is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, reviewing expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.

What you'll do…

• Maintaining job records - new client set-up & new job set-up


• Review contracts for billing instructions


• Ensure proper and timely contract work & “T&M” (Time and Material) billings are current


• Assist with collection of Accounts Receivable invoices including Statement of Account for clients


• Prepare weekly revenue projections


• Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy


• Close out project accounts upon project completion


• Assist with 10-day month-end close process


• Apply proper accounting treatment to new financial transactions and record applicable journal entries to the general ledger

What you'll need to succeed…

• Associate Degree in Accounting


• 1-3 years accounts receivable and billing experience, specifically project billing


• 3-5 years ERP experience


• Basic knowledge of GAAP, Lien waivers, and Full cycle month end close


• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel


• Strong written and oral communication skills


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Strong organizational and analytical skills


• Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships


• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment


• Construction experience is a plus

The base pay range for this position is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits, or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
