About Our Client:

Our client is a large, fast-growing third-party logistics organization supporting high-volume freight movement across multiple transportation partners. Due to peak season demand, they are expanding their tracking team to support shipment visibility and service reliability.

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring Tracking Agents for an in-office, open-ended contract role with strong potential to convert to permanent employment. This position focuses on monitoring shipment activity, resolving delays, and communicating with carriers and internal teams to ensure freight moves efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track shipment activity to ensure timely movement and delivery
• Investigate and resolve missing or delayed freight issues
• Update shipment records with accurate statuses and detailed notes
• Communicate daily with carriers, agents, and internal field offices
• Troubleshoot service disruptions and escalate issues as needed
• Navigate multiple systems and carrier platforms to gather shipment data
• Answer department phone lines and email inquiries
• Build professional working relationships with carrier partners

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of corporate experience (administrative, customer service, logistics, or similar)
• High school diploma required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and websites (ERP, carrier portals, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stay professional, confident, and composed in high-pressure situations
