Mobile Clinician
Location: Mount Sterling, KY
Salary Range:
$55,000 - $65,000
Pathways is seeking a compassionate, organized, and licensed Mobile Clinician to provide crisis intervention, assessment, and behavioral health services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises. This position serves individuals in the community, residential recovery programs, and crisis settings, helping connect them with appropriate treatment and support services.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health, behavioral health, substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, and crisis services. Strong clinical assessment skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments are essential.
Provide direct care and therapeutic support to individuals in residential, community, and crisis settings.
Conduct behavioral health and substance use assessments and crisis interventions.
Monitor clients for safety during withdrawal, recovery, and stabilization.
Supervise Peer Support Specialists and TCADC staff on-site and off-site.
Answer referral calls and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
Complete and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Oversee Suicide Prevention Lifeline calls and provide follow-up support as needed.
Supervise temporary CADC personnel and provide required documentation to licensing boards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and referral sources to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in treatment planning and support clients in achieving recovery goals.
- Master's degree with a license in a human service field, including:
- LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, LPA LPP
Experience in Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Substance Use Disorder (SUD), and Crisis Services.
Knowledge of the Twelve Step recovery model.
Experience in addiction counseling, crisis intervention, or residential recovery settings.
Familiarity with CSAT TAP #21 and NIDA's Principles of Effective Treatment.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency with computers, electronic health records, and other electronic devices necessary for completing job duties.
Experience providing crisis response services.
Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Knowledge of community resources and recovery support systems.
