Located on the 7th floor of Park Hyatt Chicago , NoMI Kitchen, Lounge, & Garden is a refined dining destination offering modern cuisine, exceptional service, and stunning views of Lake Michigan. THE ROLE:

As the NoMI Greeter , you will serve as the first impression of our restaurant, setting the tone for an exceptional guest experience from the moment of arrival. With a warm, poised, and professional presence, you'll welcome guests, manage reservations and seating with precision, and act as a key liaison between the dining room and front-of-house operations. Your ability to anticipate needs, maintain grace under pressure, and create a sense of genuine hospitality is essential to the refined service NoMI is known for. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sophisticated, guest-focused environment and understands that luxury is felt in the details.

WAGE INFORMATION:

The hourly rate for this position is $26.50. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Luxury Experience: Minimum 2 years in a fine dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or upscale hospitality environment within a front-of-house role.
  • Guest-Centered Mindset: Proven ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver gracious, personalized service.
  • Polished Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; poised and articulate under pressure.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using reservation platforms.
  • Professional Presence: Impeccable grooming and a composed, welcoming demeanor that reflects five-star standards.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage guest flow efficiently.
  • Adaptability: Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Works seamlessly with colleagues and leadership to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
