Outreach Coordinator - Circulation

Hourly Rate: $18.29 / $20.52 if bilingual (Spanish speaking)

Duties Include

• Responsible for implementation of field services for public in need.
• Acts as a liaison between library and community organizations in promoting library programs, resources, and services.
• Collaborates with local community agencies.
• Makes homebound deliveries when needed, and provides mobile library for senior facilities, local schools, and community events.
• Performs reader advisory.
• May create signage, flyers and newsletters.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working with the public are required.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based software, Microsoft Office and the internet required.
• Customer-focused, learning agility, adaptability.
• On the job training is provided.

Required Hours

• Tuesday - Thursday (9am - 2pm or 2pm - 7pm)
• Every other Saturday each month (9am - 2pm)
• Approximately 15-25 hours per week
• Schedules will be adjusted in response to changing operational needs.
