About The Role

ofi’s internship program is a great way to gain relevant experience to jump-start your career. You will work closely with exceptional talent, building on our purpose to “Be the Change for Good Food and a Healthy Future” and contributing to critical work for the business. As a Summer 2026 Intern, you will have opportunities to learn and contribute to what’s on trend in food & beverage while building a robust network, demonstrating leadership skills, and having fun.

The Digital Business Intern will collaborate closely with the eCommerce Team and gain exposure to business operations as well as project work to optimize and bring cost savings to the business through optimization of raw materials.

The ideal candidate should be in good standing with an accredited university and have a desire to pursue a career within the food industry. Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment while working with multiple teams across various locations and effective communication will be required for success in this internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Reporting: Creating detailed sales reports and dashboards to present findings to management and other stakeholders.
  • Forecasting: Developing sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business goals.
  • Market Research: Conducting research to understand market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking sales performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Strategy Development: Assisting in the development of sales strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with sales teams, marketing, and other departments to support sales initiatives.
  • CRM Management: Managing and maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure data accuracy and usability.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Projects:

  • Create and implement a process of lead vetting and qualification in order to properly allocate resources to opportunities and win new business quickly.
  • Analyze sales history data and create a forecasting model to be used for the online sales platform.

What You'll Bring

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.

What You'll Gain

The pay for this role in the state of IL is $22-24/hour and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Interns with permanent addresses more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible for a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
