First Front Desk Agent

The Paxton Cobblestone Hotel and Suites is seeing to hire one new person to join our Front Desk team. We pried ourselves on offering Big City Quality with our small town values. Customer service is very important to us and this role within the company.
This position is for the hours of 7a-3p
Days of the week to vary
Considered part time 2-4 shifts a week
Responsibilities:
Check guests in and out
Create, modify or cancel reservations
clerical work
financial checks of room payments
maintain and tear down breakfast
vacuuming and mopping of front desk, lounge and public areas
opening the pool
creating housekeeping assignment papers
communicate with maintenance and housekeeping on room status
wash, dry, fold linens
other typical hotel duties.
Requirements
Be able to stand for up to 8 hour shift
Be able to walk up and down stairs
Be able to lift a minimum of 35lbs
Have command of the english language
Due to liquor sales need to be at least 21 years old
Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
knowledgeful of computer programs such as word, excel, outlook, internet explorer
be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
