Position Overview

The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and improving process equipment in order to support the production team. The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for working with the maintenance team to improve existing processes and repair techniques.

Pay rate: $30-$37/hour with $2.00 Shift diffential

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Conducts themself in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves equipment failures
• Performs preventive maintenance routines
• Performs site specific checks of facility systems
• Efficiently communicates plant issues in a timely manner
• Works responsibly to find long term value-added solutions
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

• Education : High School Diploma.
• Experience : 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, 5+ years of electro-mechanical experience, knowledge of food processing or packaging.
• Specific skills : Ability to work safety and effectively with minimal supervision.
• Equipment & Machinery : Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, plc, knowledge of mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics.
• Computer Experience & Software : Experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000
