As a Clinical Pharmacy Consultant, you’ll play a key role in shaping pharmacy benefit programs that make a real difference. You’ll work closely with clients to create tailored strategies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure their programs align with their goals. How you'll make an impact

In this role, you’ll be the go-to advisor for clients on their pharmacy benefit programs. You’ll analyze pharmacy claims data to uncover trends and savings opportunities, recommend improvements to benefit plans, and guide clients through selecting and managing pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). Your insights will help clients optimize their programs while staying compliant with industry regulations. You’ll also build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners to deliver exceptional service and results.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement customized pharmacy benefit strategies.
  • Review and analyze client pharmacy benefits data to tailor custom-strategy to suit their goals and objectives.
  • Lead client meetings and present actionable recommendations for cost containment.
  • Negotiate PBM contracts to secure the best terms for clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
About You

You’re someone who thrives on solving problems and building relationships. You have a strong background in pharmacy benefits, healthcare, or a related field, and you’re skilled at analyzing data and communicating your findings. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients succeed.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Doctorate of pharmacy and pharmacist license (PharmD)
  • 3-5 years of experience in pharmacy benefits consulting or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of PBM operations and pharmacy claims data.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
