Emergency Medicine Travel Physician

Curious about the role of a special operations team physician? A special ops physician is assigned to one ED at a time, providing quality care to patients. Our team physicians can count on continuous work due to planned assignments. If you are board certified or eligible in ABEM or AOBEM with EM residency training, you are just right for this role! TeamHealth will obtain any additional licenses and DEAs for the designated states if needed. Competitive compensation with estimated base salary range of $325/hour to $345/hour with sign-on bonus. This position will be independent contractor (1099) status and includes paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage. Are you a team player with excellent communication skills? Special Operations Team Northeast or Midwest
TeamHealth special operations team members are credentialed at multiple emergency medicine client sites within a specified region and serve as clinical "top guns" for our clients. A special ops team member must be adaptive and possess excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude. Flexibility and the ability to travel are a must.
