We are looking for an International Tax Services Manager to join our Tax Department. As an ITS Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. The International Tax Practice specializes in international tax planning, tax return review, and related consulting services for U.S. and non-U. S individuals and companies We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our firm's International Tax Practice.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced inbound and outbound tax return review for individuals and trusts international information returns.
• Advises individuals, their families and works closely with their global advisors on tax planning decisions including income tax treaty planning for cross-border transactions and U.S. estate and gift tax planning and foreign trust planning.
• Researches and drafts memoranda on various international tax matters.
• Reviews legal documents related to U.S. estate and gift tax planning and foreign trust planning.
• Reviews complex quantitative analyses, modeling and projections.
• Interacts and coordinates with managers, directors, partners, and clients to ensure timeliness and effective communication on an engagement.
• Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects, effectively prioritize, manage others, and meet deadlines.
• Exhibits exceptional client relationship management and client service skills.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of international corporate, partnership and individual taxation; overall 7+ years in public accounting or law firm.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA or member of state Bar; Masters in Taxation, JD, and/or LL.M (with a concentration in tax) preferred.
• Knowledge of a broad range of international tax law provisions.
• Develop and train new and experienced staff.
• Exercise initiative and sound judgement.
• Responsive to clients.
• Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, Microsoft Office applications, and expert in tax research software (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, Intelliconnect).

For positions in New York City and California, the salary range is $135,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
