Head Bartender
- Total Estimated Cash Comp: $60,000 – $68,000.
- Pay Structure: This includes a base salary, plus participation in our service fee distribution and tip pool.
- Healthcare: $250/month healthcare coverage is included.
- Paid Time Off: We offer above-standard PTO and sick leave policies.
- Quarterly Bonuses: You are eligible for our profitability bonus program, which is triggered when the company hits seasonal profit baselines.
- The Hours: The expected workload is 45 hours per week, with scheduling organized by our General Manager.
This role is service-heavy and reports directly to the owner, Conner, and our GM, Jacy. While you are the lead for the bar, you aren't managing staff directly; your focus is on the floor and the systems that keep the bar running smoothly:
- Active Service: Your primary responsibility is being behind the bar, making drinks, and taking care of guests. You will also be asked to take floor shifts serving tables as needed.
- Inventory & Ordering: You will conduct weekly inventory and manage all liquor, beer, and wine ordering.
- Menu & Digital Systems: We use Margin Edge for recipe tracking and maintain a running menu guide on Google Docs. We’re looking for someone with the tech-savviness to keep this data accurate and up to date.
- Technical Knowledge: You will act as a primary resource for the team and guests regarding producers and production methods.
- Standards & Maintenance: You will oversee nightly checklists, manage prep lists, and ensure the bar stays dialed in and organized.
