Location-Type: Remote (Preferred EST Time Zone)
Start Date Is: June 1st
Duration: 5 week contract (20-30 hours/ week)
Compensation Range: $55-65/hr
Job Description:
The client is seeking a Digital Project/Strategy Director to provide temporary coverage for ongoing web and digital initiatives, supporting strategic planning, client communication, and project execution across multiple active rebrand and website projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Support digital projects and ensure initiatives stay on track day-to-day
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, development, and project management teams
- Assess client needs and recommend strategic digital solutions
- Define functional and non-functional requirements for web projects
- Write and document user stories and project requirements
- Participate in internal and client-facing meetings as needed
- Provide high-level guidance on UX, site structure, and wireframes
- Act as liaison with external development partners and stakeholders
- Support QA and launch readiness efforts across active projects
- Help identify project risks, scope concerns, and feasibility considerations
- Manage multiple staggered web and rebrand projects simultaneously
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 2-3 years of experience operating at the Director level
- Strong strategic digital project experience within web environments
- Experience with Webflow and/or WordPress CMS platforms
- Experience gathering requirements and writing user stories
- Strong understanding of website development processes and feasibility estimation
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with strategy, design, and development teams
- Client-facing communication and stakeholder management experience
- Experience with Smartsheet and Figma
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Teams environments
- Ability to independently manage priorities in a fast-paced agency setting
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Agency-side experience
- Brand redesign or rebranding project experience
- Experience supporting CRM integrations or ecommerce website functionality
- Experience managing brochure-style or interactive web experiences
