Outpatient Physical Therapist

Position Summary
A metro Chicago hospital is seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for pediatric outpatient clients. This role is located near Blue Island, IL. Candidates with ortho/neuro outpatient experience are strongly preferred. Responsibilities
• Schedule / Shift- Shift details: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with paid 30-minute lunch
- Hours per week: 32–40 hours
- Contract length: Immediate start through September 2026
• Key Duties:
- Provide physical therapy treatment planning and interventions for ortho/neuro outpatient clients
- Deliver diagnostic, consultative, and therapeutic services in accordance with clinical standards
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the outpatient setting
Requirements
• Education
- Required: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Licenses & Certifications
- Required: Active Illinois Physical Therapist license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
- Preferred: Experience in ortho/neuro outpatient setting
Skills:
- Minimum 1–2 years of outpatient occupational therapy experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient pediatric healthcare environment
- Knowledge of ortho/neuro therapy practices, treatment planning, and patient care standards
