Finance Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to lead regional financial operations and reporting. This role ensures proactive, accurate, and compliant financial management aligned with corporate standards. The Finance Manager partners with business leaders to drive continuous improvement, provide financial advisory support, and deliver key insights for decision-making. Responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and serving as a liaison with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
- Define strategic direction for financial and accounting functions.
- Manage accounting processes, financial reporting, and performance results.
- Oversee payroll, salary administration, tax compliance, and deductions.
- Ensure robust systems, procedures, and internal controls are in place.
- Monitor and enhance financial performance across the region.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement control procedures.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
- Manage cost-effective insurance and banking arrangements to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and distribute management reports to support executive decision-making.
- Participate in operational and management meetings to strengthen business processes.
- Foster a positive team environment, providing leadership, coaching, and development to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, including forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification.
- 4–10 years of experience in regional finance/accounting within a manufacturing setting, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in global organizations.
- Expertise in Financial and Cost Accounting, US GAAP, Tax, and large financial systems, and advanced Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to enforce accounting policies and procedures.
- Deep understanding of financial compliance and advisory practices, including tax regulations.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modeling.
This is a Permanent position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
