Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Molding Operator to join our team in a clean room environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in production, general labor, or material handling, and be comfortable working with small parts or inventory.
Responsibilities
- Operate molding machines, presses, and other equipment to produce silicone rubber implantable medical device components.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of parts using gages and microscopes.
- Handle general production tasks, including labeling and assembly.
- Troubleshoot issues with injection molds and other equipment.
- Maintain adherence to GMP clean room protocols.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of production, general labor, or material handling experience.
- Comfortable in a GMP clean room environment.
- Experience with small parts or inventory management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with GMP standards.
- Experience using microscopes and small hand tools.
- Knowledge of molding operations, brake press, or other machine operations.
- Comfortable wearing clean room attire and following safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean-room facility where strict GMP protocols are followed. Upon entering, employees will go through a gowning-up process to ensure cleanliness. Each station is equipped with an injection molding machine and a computer/microscope station. Shifts include 1st shift (5am-1:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am), with potential overtime on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.95/hr.
