Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden is looking a Maintenance Worker

FT hours Weekdays with rotation of weekend on-call responsibility; Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule. Stipend for on-call responsibility

Clinton Manor provides long-term care with skilled nursing that accommodates seniors or individuals with high medical needs. General Building & Grounds Maintenance

1. Maintains building appearance and functionality including painting, light carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing. Takes pride in work and keeping building safe and visually appealing.
2. Receives deliveries and distributes them accordingly, maintains equipment storage areas, rotates stock as needed and directed.
3. Responds timely to maintenance requests and assess situation for effective and safe repairs. Collaborates with Maintenance Director and other departments to ensure life safety code is maintained.
4. Regularly assess building, equipment, and outdoor areas to find areas of possible improvement to ensure safety of residents, employees, and visitors. Collaborates with supervisor and other team members to come up with timely solutions & implements as needed.
5. Keep building, courtyards, and grounds in good order and up to code per IDPH regulation.
6. Understand, maintain knowledge, and perform as necessary building system resets, gas and water shutoff procedures, inventory of maintenance & emergency building supplies.
7. Work directly with Maintenance Director to learn changes in IDPH regulations and help to formulate a plan of action and complete timely work for compliance.
8. Participates in all regular and daily maintenance requirements such as changing filters, preventative maintenance of electric motors and other equipment.
9. Actively listen to and aid in correcting maintenance issues brought forward by all staff, residents, visitors, regulators of SILC.
10. Assist in updating/maintaining TELS maintenance system.
11. Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.

Job Summary : The Maintenance role works to ensure that buildings, equipment, appliances, and grounds are in good repair and are welcoming as well as provides basic technical support for IT needs. They ensure the highest level of customer service as well as compliance with current standards of practice, company policies and procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements include: Prefer 1-year prior experience in maintenance or a closely related field. Required to have valid IL driver's license w/2 or less driving violations in the last 3 years for purpose of driving company vehicle. Must be able to meet requirements of background checks and pre-employment physical.
