A well-established general contracting firm is seeking a Project Manager to support commercial construction projects throughout the region. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing both new construction and renovation work with project values typically ranging from $1M to $15M+. - Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout
- Partner closely with Superintendents to coordinate schedules, logistics, safety plans, and field execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to fully understand scope and risk
- Collaborate with the estimating team during preconstruction and project handoff
- Negotiate subcontractor agreements, change orders, and financial disputes with owners and trade partners
- Track project costs, schedules, cash flow, and work-in-progress reporting
- Document and manage scope changes that impact schedule or budget
- Ensure compliance with project safety plans and regulatory requirements
- Support MBE and WBE subcontracting goals and affirmative action contract requirements as applicable
- Prepare and present project closeout documentation and final project packages

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Experience negotiating change orders and managing subcontractor scopes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Collaborative team player with a high level of professionalism and integrity
