Job Title: Engineering Aide

Location: Onsite – Peoria, IL

Contract duration: 12 Month contract with potential for extension or conversion

Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Engineering Aide to support the development, maintenance, and distribution of technical publications and documentation for government-related programs. This role will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to compile product manuals, manage technical data, and fulfill customer information requests. It is a great opportunity for recent engineering graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in technical documentation, media handling, and engineering support functions within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

· Support the creation, review, and maintenance of technical publications and product manuals

· Compile and organize product documentation for internal and external use

· Perform print redaction and manage media translation requests

· Maintain and manage media storage, documentation, and transmission processes

· Review bill of materials (BOM) and technical data for accuracy and submission

· Provide product and parts information to customers as needed

· Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and service teams on documentation needs

· Assist with day-to-day support activities for technical information services

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred

• 0–4 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates encouraged)

• Proficiency with Adobe or Nitro (preferred), and Microsoft Office 365

• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across diverse teams

• Adaptability in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

• Local to the work location and able to attend an in-person interview
