OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Aurora, IL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run national dry-van routes out of Aurora for HMD Trucking as an OTR solo CDL-A operator. You’ll deliver freight across regions, maintain accurate logs, and ensure safe handling of shipments.

What you'll do:

• Operate modern dry van tractors on long-haul trips and perform securement and inspection routines.
• Adhere to federal and state safety rules and company procedures.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet on-time delivery expectations and service commitments.

Pay & equipment:

• Pay begins at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles plus bonuses for safe driving, inspections and referrals. Trucks are under 3 years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, and in-house maintenance support. Home every two weeks and comprehensive benefits available.

• CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
