Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

Commercial Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning a project from start to finish, stays organized under pressure, and understands how all the moving parts of a construction project fit together.

The right candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects running smoothly and successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project requirements
• Schedule and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
• Provide regular project updates and address issues as they arise
• Identify potential risks early and work toward practical solutions
• Oversee material, equipment, and service procurement
• Manage punch lists, closeout documents, and final project deliverables
• Utilize construction management software to track project progress
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and contractual obligations

Qualifications

• Experience managing mechanical construction projects is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of Project Manager experience
• Minimum of 3 years working in the construction industry
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team

• Salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 (based on experience)
