Sr. Scada Analyst

Seeking a Senior Analyst/Systems (SCADA) to serve as the technical lead for the administration and support of the AVEVA PI Historian and its integrations with SCADA and other OT/ICS platforms. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and related interfaces/connectors to ensure accurate, secure, and high-quality operational data across a regulated natural gas distribution environment.

You will work closely with Operations, OT, IT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with SWG standards and security policies. This role is hands-on and critical to supporting real-time operations, safety, and reliability.

Responsibilities include leading system design, application functionality, security and recovery planning, integration requirements, vendor evaluations, troubleshooting, change management, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and cross-functional coordination. The role also requires participation in emergency management planning, on-call support, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated and mission-critical environment.

• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.

• Industry recognized certification(s) relevant to responsibilities are preferred. Incumbents performing activities requiring government, regulatory or vendor certification must keep those certifications current. an advantage but not required

• Strong expertise in SCADA/ICS environments, preferably within natural gas, energy, or other critical infrastructure industries.

• Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills across SCADA applications, databases, operating systems, and OT communications.

• Ability to support mission-critical 24×7 operational systems in a regulated environment.

• Systems Testing and IT Implementation experience.

• Project Management experience.

• Utilities experience

• Excellent analytical skills and a sense of urgency

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
