Quality Engineer Junior
:
A global contract manufacturer, providing build-to-print services for all things cable.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, performing inspections, testing products, and analyzing data to identify areas of improvement. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of quality engineering experianced or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical/ Electrical or Quality Engineering). and understanding of quality control principles.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processes and programs to assure products meet manufacturing, compliance, and quality standards as per KSM Electronics' procedures and related technical documents.
- Provide quality planning, control, and improvement support for production, engineering, supply management, and/or distribution teams to assure the company's quality meets the customers' expectations.
- Oversees the implementation and effectiveness of QA systems; calibration, test, and inspection of equipment, and leads proactive quality initiatives.
- Participates in internal audits, supplier approval/review, customer requirements review, inspection planning, and support of customer and third-party audits.
- Responsible for the assessment of component and system level specifications relative to customer needs and product performance specifications.
- Collaborates with management to ensure effective risk management for products and processes.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required (Mechanical/Electrical or Quality Engineering) *** We encourage college graduates to applying prior to their graduation date !!!
- 1- 2 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably electronics)
- 1- 2 years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of AS9100
- 1-2 years of experience in contractual and specification requirement interpretation
- Minimum of three years of experience in the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing processes (SOPs)
- Six Sigma belt a plus
- Knowledge of IPC Certification standards a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
