BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a well-established property in the Chicago area. This is a full-time, weekday position offering steady hours and competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartment units and common areas
- Respond to service requests (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
- Prepare apartments for move-ins and move-outs (turns)
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous apartment or residential maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
- EPA, HVAC, or other maintenance certifications a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
