Social Media Manager
We are seeking a part-time, on-site Social Media Manager to run our restaurant’s social channels during the slower season (January through April), with the potential to extend.
Responsibilities
- Manage Instagram and Facebook accounts
- On-site content capture every 7–10 days during service hours
- Create photo and video content, including Reels
- Write captions and schedule posts
- Maintain a monthly content calendar
- Respond to DMs and comments in brand voice
- Track and report basic metrics and performance
- Collaborate with ownership on promotions, events, holidays, and seasonal offerings
Qualifications
- Based in or near Peoria, IL
- Experience managing business social media accounts (not just personal pages)
- Comfortable shooting content in an active restaurant environment
- Strong writing skills and understanding of brand voice
- Reliable, organized, and deadline-driven
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Reels, short-form video, content strategy
Preferred Experience (not required)

- Canva, CapCut, InShot, or Adobe tools

- email marketing experience a plus
