Oncology Regional Sales Director

Responsibilities:
This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top-tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. The Regional Sales Director will report to the Syneos Health National Business Director and will be directly responsible to hire, train and develop, as well as coach the sales team in their district in order to successfully promote product targeted physicians. You will:
- Be responsible for motivating, managing and developing the skill sets and overall performance of the sales representatives in their district
- Effectively identify and monitor multiple local market conditions to build and support strong customer relationships while driving product promotion solutions and executing marketing strategies
- Monitor field activities to ensure all are within compliance guidelines and provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions while collaborating closely with leadership, commercial operations, marketing and medical affairs
- Compliantly driving sales objectives to meet & exceed corporate forecast
- Develop deep product & competitor knowledge, as well as an understanding of local & regional market trends
Job Requirements:
Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:
- Bachelors Degree - Advanced Degree Preferred
- 7+ Years of Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry experience
- Experience in the Oncology marketplace required
- 2+ Years of regional Oncology field management experience
- Excellent organizational skills, especially in project planning, project implementation, and cross-functional team management
- Ability to hire, lead, coach & mentor high performing teams
- Ability to meet travel demands – 70% time in the field, other travel may be required
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $195,000 to $205,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
