Technical Sales Director
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the North American market, utilizing market research, industry knowledge, and networking.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and maximize business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, customer service, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis, identify trends, and monitor competitor activities to inform business development strategies and identify areas for growth.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to key stakeholders, demonstrating the value proposition of our products/services.
- Monitor and report on key metrics, such as sales performance, market trends, and business development activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in technical sales, or relevant roles, with a focus on North American markets.
- Strong understanding of the electronics industry especially in Smart Home / HVAC / Energy Management market landscape in North America.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a track record of successfully closing deals and forming strategic partnerships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and develop effective strategies.
- Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.
