Job Posting: Speech Pathologist
Position Overview:
As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of residents within our community. You will have the opportunity to evaluate and address speech, language, and swallowing difficulties, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess the speech, language, and swallowing difficulties of residents.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to determine treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet specific functional needs.
- Provide therapy to clients to improve speech clarity, voice quality, fluency, and more.
- Educate and empower clients to make progress in their speech and language skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and empathy for individuals with speech and language difficulties.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
