Schedule/Hours

• Days: 0700-1900, 1100-2300
• Evenings: 1500-0300
• Nights: 1900-0700
• Flexible, rotating schedule (determined by unit needs)
• Weekend and holiday shifts as needed
• No on-call

Essential Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license, in good standing
• Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department experience (community or acute care)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS—American Heart Association
• NIHSS Stroke Certification
• Exceptional assessment and prioritization skills
• Proficient with EPIC (EMR)
• Rapid adaptability and professional reliability
• First-time travelers welcome!

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care for a wide range of patient populations, from neonates to geriatrics
• Manage high-acuity situations and swiftly respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Expertly start IVs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and manage ventilators
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including ED Techs, RTs, Physicians, and Educators
• Consistently document care with accuracy and thoroughness using EPIC
