Food Preparer/cashier

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for ensuring every guest feels welcomed and enjoys their visit. Your role will include greeting customers, taking orders, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with other duties to ensure smooth operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.

- Assist customers with menu selections, including explaining ingredients and customization options.

- Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.

- **Order Management**:

- Take orders accurately through the POS system.

- Package and deliver takeout orders promptly.

**Restaurant Operations**:

- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, counters, and service stations.

- Restock supplies (napkins, utensils, sauces, etc.) as needed.

**Team Collaboration**:

Support team members with tasks during busy periods.

**Cash Handling**:

- Process payments accurately (cash, credit/debit cards, or app-based payments).

- Follow company policies for handling refunds and discounts.

**Qualifications**

- Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus, but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy periods.

- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-player mindset.

- Basic math skills for handling payments and order calculations.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (weekdays 11am-2pm preferred)

**Physical Requirements**

- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally (e.g., restocking supplies).
