Join our team as a Quality Control Technician, where you will play a vital role in sample management to support the quality control group. This position offers opportunities for growth within the QA and sample management sectors as we expand.

Responsibilities

• Manage samples to support the quality products in the QC group.

• Work on the production floor to ensure compliance with SOPs by filler operators.

• Inspect incoming raw materials to verify lot and product numbers match bottle numbers.

• Document production goals across nine lines.

• Audit documentation and manufacturing processes.

• Audit incoming raw materials.

• Collect samples from lines for testing and inspection.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Quality Control and Documentation.

• Strong understanding of Sciences, Data Entry, and Organizational Skills.

• Experience in Inspection and Biology.

• Knowledge of GMP guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Science is preferred, BS in Biology is highly desirable.

• Degrees in Material Science, Physics, or Geology are also considered.

• Preference for entry-level science graduates or those with relevant QC experience.

Work Environment

This role is based at our Lake Villa production facility within the newly established QC group. Historically, QC operations were located at the Mount Prospect site, but as we rapidly grow, some QC work is now done closer to production at Lake Villa. The position is an integral part of our growth strategy and expansion into the generic drug and European markets, alongside our established antiseptic pharmaceutical solutions. Candidates will start in the staging room, then transition to the manufacturing floor, which runs nine lines on the first shift. Training will occur on the first shift before moving to the second shift (3pm-12am) for 5-7 weeks, eventually settling into a first shift schedule (8am-4pm, variable hours). Work includes occasional Saturdays and/or second shifts. The company adheres to FDA and GMP guidelines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Villa, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
