Occupational Therapist (OT) - School Based (Float)

$50–$55 per hour | 2025–2026 School Year

AB Staffing is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT – Float) to support multiple school locations in the Crestwood, IL area for the 2025–2026 school year. This position follows the academic calendar and offers consistent weekday hours with the variety of working across campuses.

Position Details:

• Location: Crestwood, IL (multiple nearby school sites)
• Schedule: Full-time school hours - 35 hours per week
• Contract: Full 2025–2026 school year
• Setting: School-based (K–12)
• Role Type: Float OT
• Caseload, mileage expectations, and school placements discussed prior to offer to ensure a great fit
• Weekly Pay: $1,925

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students using standardized assessments and clinical observation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support functional and academic success
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Travel between assigned school buildings as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Illinois OT License (OTR/L)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Comfortable floating between multiple school sites
• BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements
