As a Security Officer Corporate Reception in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will help to deter incidents while representing a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that values people, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor front desk activity, manage access procedures, and greet and direct guests, vendors, and employees in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate site contacts when needed.
• Assist with visitor registration, badge distribution, phone inquiries, and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk and following established post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
