What Is This Role? Your Path to "Rockstar" Account Management.

This is a unique opportunity to grow into a full Account Manager role, starting by mastering critical operational and client support functions. You will be instrumental in translating client needs into actionable plans and proposals, ultimately owning significant client relationships and driving sales.

Your Initial Contributions Will Focus On:

  • Client Engagement & Support:

    • Proactively follow up with clients regarding service issues and enhancement requests on their job sites.

    • Act as a primary customer advocate, anticipating and facilitating the resolution of issues, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction.

    • Develop long-term relationships with both prospective and current customers, always with their long-term value in mind.

  • Expert Estimation & Proposal Development:

    • You will be responsible for identifying client needs and independently gathering all necessary site information —including detailed notes, accurate measurements, and comprehensive photos—to build compelling estimates.

    • Utilizing Landscape Management Network (LMN) software (integrated with our CRM), you will build highly accurate and detailed proposals. This involves leveraging LMN's templates, embedding Google Photo album links, and accurately inputting variables for crew time, equipment, materials, and travel.

    • Your proposals will be clear for the client and precise for our production crews to execute efficiently.

  • Quality Assurance & Contract Management Support:

    • Proactively inspect for quality on a regular basis, address internal quality issues, and ensure all contract details are met.

  • Technology & Data Management:

    • Proficiently utilize Google Workspace , maintain accurate customer records within our CRM (taking the lead and even teaching others), and efficiently edit images to enhance proposals.

    • Embrace metrics, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales scorecard, and embracing technology to improve efficiency.

Your Growth Trajectory & Future as an Account Manager:

This role is designed as a direct pipeline to becoming a full Account Manager, where you will achieve approximately $1,000,000 in annual enhancement sales from managing a portfolio of maintenance service clients and organically finding new opportunities. As you consistently demonstrate your capabilities and build trust by owning tasks and delivering results, you will gradually transition into core Account Manager responsibilities, including:

  • Taking ownership of renewing annual contracts.

  • Actively seeking new sales opportunities, asking for referrals, and engaging in networking to build and manage your own service portfolio (target ~$1,000,000 annually).

  • Winter Season Participation: During the snow & ice season, you will continue to actively manage your client relationships and portfolio , including performing site visits to ensure contract needs are met and being consistently available to your clients. Your operational involvement will be limited to clearly communicating client needs and expectations to our production team.
